We send out the Beaver Tail Post on the 2nd Monday of the month (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). US subscribers generally receive it with in 4-10 days. International members may receive it with in 2-3 weeks depending on location. If you sign up before the 1st of the month, you’ll receive that months letter. If you sign up after, you’ll start receiving the BTP the following month.

Well, beavers seem to be a common theme with us. We were married on a Beaver moon. Totally unplanned! When we moved back up North and into a condo in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the pond right out our front door had a family of beavers. One of our favorite things to do in the evening was to walk around that pond and try to catch a glimpse of them. We even named them Oscar and Octavia. So many of the local hikes we take in many of the surrounding towns, have a pond and you can catch a sight of a beaver lodge.

When we purchased our property, we jokingly started referring to it as Beaver Moon Farm as the family before us had chickens, goats and a pig. The animals followed the family to their new home, but we still use the name.

Beavers are an important part of our ecosystem and their building and design cannot be matched. Every single time I see one it makes me smile. That’s why I called it the Beaver Tail Post.
